This is MPX and this web site is maintained by myself, Azmeen Afandi; a photographer based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

I am an avid photographer who specializes in portraiture. Nevertheless, I can be engaged for almost every kind of photography including events, landscape, and industrial/corporate imagery.

Berbuka Puasa Photography Promotion

In conjunction with the Muslim holy month of Ramadhan, MPX Photography is offering on a “first come first served” basis, a very affordable package to document your “berbuka puasa” (fast breaking) event.

This package is designed for families, companies, clubs, and other organisations that is looking for high quality photographs for publication or just for posterity’s sake. Photos will be in high quality JPEG format, 12 x 8 inches at 300dpi. All properly exposed shots will be burnt onto a CD/DVD and delivered to you within three days. ~~Prints can be arranged for an additional fee~~.

Update (24 July 2011): 80 pieces of 4R size prints and sticky album is now included in the package.

Outdoor Model Shoot: Fara

Fara has been in my Facebook friends list for quite some time. I’ve always wanted to do a shoot with her as she does seem to be photogenic and undeniably pretty. One day, I decided to just wing it and ask her if she’d be interested to model for me… It must have been my lucky day; she said “Yes!”

After searching for inspiration, I proposed that we do a cowgirl styled theme for the shoot and Fara agreed. I shortlisted a few inspirational shot and shared with her the concept I’m going for.
